WESTERN FESTIVAL

Well we are back from a day at a western festival in yorktown tx. We all enjoyed the rides and the animals. I believe Jade and Patrick are trying to start early with the horse riding. Everytime they got near a horse they wanted to get on. And when we let them on we couldn't get them off!! We did alot of walking. On our way home Patrick fell asleep and Jade tried talking the whole way. Jade also rode a bull.

Beach Trip

Well we are back from a long weekend at the beach. Dusty and his brother kevin caught a total of 6 sharks while we were there..Jade and Patrick enjoyed themselves in the water and the sand...LOL right now we are calling Jade our little raccoon. See Jade wouldn't let me put sunblock around her eye area and needless to say she got sun burned.....now she looks like a coon. Patrick didn't know what to think about the water but he didn't seem to mind the shells...at one point he was tring to give them to me..We came home today (sunday) and we are all just beat...so we are all going to be pretty early....

COWBOYS FAN

Well here we go....It's football season and we already got us a football fan in our hands! Daddy thinks he needs to be a cowboys fan. LOL We will see how this goes.

Patrick's birthday party!

On Sept 21st we had patrick's birthday party up at the family church in rock island. All of our friends and most of the family showed up to celebrate with us. Patrick had a fun time. He was so tired and sleepy that he was making himself stay awake for the fun. He played ball with a cousin of his from his daddy side of the family. He loved opening up all his presents and when it was time for cake he sat in the middle of the room and at first he didn't want to touch his cake. He just wanted the tractor off the top! LoL! After awhile he just dug right in. There was cake everywhere. Over all he had a blast! Can't wait till next year!

Today is Patricks birthday

Today my son Patrick turned 1. I can't believe it. We are having a birthday party sunday so I will inform you at a later time, with pictures and how everything went.

Patrick's first hair cut

On Sept. 9th 2008 we took patrick to my hair styliest in columbus to get his first big haircut. To believe it or not he did very well. We thought it was going to be very exciting since he doesn't like anyone really playing with his head. The whole haircut took about 30mins at the longest. He did very well. Just like my lil BIG BOY!!!

After the haircut, we went to go eat at Taco Bell and he got his first pair of goofy glasses! (he took from jade)

Jade's dirty mouth!

Well Jade went to a friends birthday party and the cake that they had, had this icing on it that turned your mouth a different color. Needless to say jade was the first one to get it all over her mouth. Honestly it looked really nasty to me, but at the same time it was funny!
